Awards and competitions are a great way to gain recognition for Start-ups to Small/Medium business. Especially in terms of getting National press and building up awareness of your brand and you.

We (Squid) won A Lloyds Creative Enterprsie Award last year at the NACUE National Varsity Pitch Competition and the Peoples Choice Award. Totally nerve racking experience standing on a stage speaking to hundreds of people whilst being filmed for live web cam! But, it is great fun and you get a real sense of achievement from it.
